Topics We Don't Accept

We do not accept:

  • Content that has been published elsewhere
  • Promotional content without substantial value
  • Content that conflicts with Malaysian laws and cultural values
  • Topics unrelated to our blog's focus areas

Quality Standards

All guest posts must:

  • Be well-researched and factually accurate
  • Be written in proper Bahasa Malaysia or English (depending on your preference)
  • Contain at least 800-1500 words (unless otherwise agreed)
  • Include relevant subheadings, short paragraphs, and bullet points for readability
  • Provide genuine value to our readers

Links and Attribution

External Links

  • You may include up to 1-2 relevant links to your website or social media
  • Links must be relevant to the content and provide value to readers
  • We reserve the right to use nofollow attributes on external links
  • Excessive or irrelevant links will be removed

Author Attribution

All guest posts will include:

  • Your name/pseudonym
  • A brief bio (up to 50 words)
  • Optional: One profile picture (must be appropriate and professional)

Submission Process

  • Brief outline of your proposed topic (3-5 bullet points)
  • Your credentials and why you're qualified to write on this topic
  • Examples of previous writing (if available)

2. Review Process: We'll review your pitch and respond within [timeframe, e.g., 7-10 business days]. If approved, we'll provide additional guidelines.

3. Submission: Once approved, submit your complete draft in [preferred format, e.g., Google Docs, Word document].

4. Editing: We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, grammar, and alignment with our blog style. Substantial changes will be communicated to you before publishing.

Rights and Ownership

By submitting content:

  • You confirm the content is original and you own all rights to it
  • You grant Netizen Malaya the right to publish, edit, and distribute the content
  • You agree not to republish the exact content elsewhere
  • You maintain the right to share a link to the published post

Compensation Policy

We do not currently offer compensation for guest posts

Rejection and Removal
